The three shipping methods

- Sea freight — cheapest per kilo, slowest (weeks). Best for bulk and heavy goods once a product is proven.

Customs, duties and taxes

- Import duties — based on product category (HS code) and destination.
- VAT/sales tax — e.g. the EU’s IOSS scheme for low-value consignments simplifies VAT for orders under the threshold.
